19/12/08 Friday

straight after our last paper
me and Vivi headed to MidValley to shop =)

the North Court was snowing!!!

we went Fong Lye @ The Gardens for lunch

and i love my 三杯鸡饭 set ！！！ <3

last but not least
i bought L'Occitane Cherry Blossom perfume!
smell so nice~
now im like totally neglect my Dior Addict Shine dy since i got it lol

21/12/08 Sunday

went Petaling Street with Vivi, MK and Vivi's housemate
bought so many ba kwa coz my mom told me to =.=
wanted to buy 四眼仔烧鸭
but then when we reached they already closed dy T.T
so we went to eat wan tan mee instead

oooh i love the char siew~!
our college wantan mee not char siew one! ish!

and the shui gao with lotsa fillings =D

After that they went back to Mentari
i stayed at KL Central and met up with Sze Chee and Sze Yee them
then headed to Sungai Wang
omg the sales there were crazy!
and so crowded=.= made me so dizzy

before going home
i bought this Turkish ice cream

IT WONT DROP !!!

lol i was EFFING tired that day
and when i reached home i just straight away slept like dead pig

as planned
me and Vivi went for CNY shopping today
and i chose the nearest Pyramid coz i woke up late dy =.=

went Shihlin for lunch
Happy Rice Box Set =D

then we went shopping for clothes like crazy
Nichii, Romp, Springfield, Forever 21, MNG.......

i love this checkers top from nichii! got the christmasty feeling right?
but i didnt buy it la =.=

ended up Miss Vivi bought 11 piece of clothings
omg
and i just bought 2 polo tees and one top from Springfield

and lastly,
how could i resist Baskin Robin's ice cream?

continued our shopping at MidValley =D
i bought many stuff today!
bought heels and tops =D
didn't take much pic coz we were too busy shopping =.=

at night,
Mr. Ryan Tan Jin Kuan was too bored at home
so we went yam cha at Subaidah

as usual
i ordered Roti Tissue again XD

and damn Ryan tempted me to eat as he ordered this duno-wad-name stuff

the egg yolk was so watery and so round and so tempting!
i couldnt help but to poke it with the keropok thingy
FYI
i got this unnamed sickness
that i cant resist the temptation of round, watery, yellowish, gorgeous looking egg yolk
i sure will poke it with anything i got in my hand one
lol

ended up i ordered nasi goreng kampung

eat nasi goreng at late night is so fattening T_T

went home at 11 + then stared packing dy

so these are my updates after my exam and before i went back Miri
will update bout my stay in Miri soon
lol it's basically all about food also la
nothing much else to do in Miri except eat, eat and eat XD

when we reached there
June's bro said he wanna eat sushi so we headed to Sushi King~~
after that Ching came too

woohooo eat eat eat!
too bad don have the RM2 for rice base sushi on the conveyor belt promotion dy
sushi sushi sushi~

i ordered the japanese pizza at Sushi King for the first time
omg it's such a small piece of that =.=
makes me miss Excapade's Japanese Pizza so much!

very amat small piece rite? compare the size with the soy sauce plate =.=

and i tried a new stuff

i just went back from eating steamboat with Joy

but then she back off in a sudden and went Ikea with their mom =.=

how can i don't camwhore before i left? XD

we reached there at about 9pm and I was starving!!!
here i go~ took lotsa lotsa FOOOOD

fish balls, meatballs, lamb, chicken. pork, ham, crab sticks etc etc

after reading KY's blog about Talipon
i decided to make my chili prawns too XD
1st, peel the raw prawns
2nd, dip them into chili sauce
3rd, grill them on pan
4th, *sluurrpsss* *munch munch* * buurrrrp*

it's some kinda dried meat stuff but its in raw form la
omg that's so nice

which was at 5th nov
lol i got this from my college mates

about two weeks ago....

MENTARI 17th Floor was INVADED by BEEEEEEESSSSS !!!

lol here goes the story

there's a renovation going on at my house nowadays

and one day the workers suddenly told my dad that they saw a freaking big bee hive at the roof top there

so, my mom phoned up to Balai Bomba to ask someone come over to get rid of it

i tot only few people are coming only

but who knows!~

just now at about 9pm

this truck arrived

a real big bomba truck! for fire rescue those kind =.=

stated " BOMBA DAN PENYELAMAT "

LOL just a bee hive only jek, need so 大阵容 meh?

and here they go~

climbed up to find the bee hive,
targeted it,
sprayed Ridsect on it ( to make the beez dizzy first? =.=)
then BURNT IT ALIVE BWAHAHAHAHA *ahem...*

about 30 minutes later...

these bees are like so small la
for those who put lotsa commitment in killing the bees that day
maybe you can have a part-time at Bomba by killing bees

Tuesday
kitchen practical class!
we learned how to poach eggs and pan fried fish today
hmm... i think me n Lisa did quite well on today lor
we were fast! lol
too bad i didn't manage to take pic of the fish
before i got to take pictures they took it and served dy =.=

my tomato salad~ look nice ?

had our pastry class~
Chef Kartina is nice~~!!!
i prefer her than Chef Shaari lor
made creme caramel and tarte alsacience today
hmm.. dont really like the tart but the sliced apples were nice XD

Saturday
First day of movie marathon XD
i got to tell you all i have this freaking amazing software called PPSTREAM
it stream movie damn fast one!
before i started my movie marathon,
cooked laksa for lunch~

the laksa i cooked~ many stuff inside o =D

After that i watched
- 赌侠大战拉斯维加斯 ( intro-ed by Ivy Chai and thats a freaking lame movie that made me laugh like hell looool )
-功夫灌篮 ( ok - ok lah... )

Break time~
cooked dinner ~
i had potatoes with parsley n garlic , angel hair with mixed herbs and two Ramly's beef patties
freaking full man =.=

I have no idea i watched it for how many times dy but i still love it!!!
the movie is freaking long, about 3 hours
and Ben Affleck is sooooooooooo sexyyyyyy

it's like the feel is different when i watched it 5 years ago and 5 years later leh
maybe that time still small can't really got touched by the movie yet

second day of movie marathon XD
woke up at 12 and cooked lunch
angel hair again =.= with shredded onion n sausages

muah lunch

then i watched
- What Happens in Vegas ( nice movie though )
- Shrek the Third ( i really love Shrek as u can see XD )

i feel like i'm so geeky for this weekend =.= stay in front of comp all the time

the airticket prices rise again T.T
it costs 400+ laaaaaaa
i think i'm not going back to Miri on September dy

Fish Fish Fish !

had our kitchen applied tech class today
it was a terrible jam this morning and Chef Shaari was late for like an hour =.=
we were doing fish cutting and blanching tomato for this class
we had to fillet the fish for tomorrow's use lor

i got fish phobia T.T
when i saw the fishes
omg they were huge!!!
we were cutting seabass and sole fish
and i got the sole fish
which is a flat fish which swim the other way round than the other fishes
it's like having two eyes at one side
ugly!!! T.T

at first i don't even dare to touch the fish leh
bravo to Lisa who chose the fish and washed it
after Chef Sharri demonstrate different ways of cutting both fishes
then we started on our own dy

i really feel like i spent my weekend to the fullest~

Friday
went to have dinner with coursemates and our F&B lecturer, Mr. Patrick
we went Qong Ching steamboat to have our dinner
awww the soup base is nice!!!
i love the tom yam one~ but the normal one is nice oso~ got herbal taste one
then then~ the ice cream is so freaking nice that i think i ate 9 scoops of them =.=
the flavor i ate included~ sesame, cookies and cream, strawberry, honeydew , chocolate and mango~~
i love the sesame one!
omg i was so damn freaking full T.T
and i was so impressed by Ivan! he can eat damn much! owhh nooo i lose dy
then end up me and him went home to shit right after we reached Mentari
result of eating too much XD

Saturday
huge Mirians a.k.a ex-ChungHua gathering today!
we went to MidValley to meet
walao i saw the TARC gang ( Sing Min, Sze Chee, Samson, Chung Liang, etc....), Nottingham gang ( Ah Sam, Barry, etc...) and Taylor Subang gang ( Ah Yet, Lun En, Andy Ling, Audrey, etc...) and others such as Henry, Kai Hui, Adeline, Clement etc...
gosh so many Mirians!
we went C-Jade Express to had our lunch~ ( coz Ah Yet kept mentioning fei-chui-ya XD)
wakaka i miss Ah Yet's fei-ness!

LOL that Samson kept making us laugh like hell inside KTM
he said we're like the particles in solid
so closely packed
then when the train goyang-ed and we goyang-ed along too
he said "see, we're vibrating in fixed position now "
and he talked many fei stuff la~ even the couple stood beside us kept laughing too XD
walao during the KL Central -> Subang Jaya route it's even worse
hot like Kenny Roger's ( as Samson said XD )
after that we went to Lun En's place to have a rest then headed to Asia Cafe to have our dinner
awww so freaking full! after that Me and Eileen went home le...

the KTM system down today =.= omg i couldnt feel any aircond from KL central -> Bandar Tasik Selatan
Joy was already waiting in his car when i arrived

Insomnia

as the title stated
im having insomnia nowadays T.T
last nite i think i sleep not more than 2 hours only lor
turned here n there on the bed
then i saw Eileen Ong sleeping til so shuang dy
but i was still awake T.T
barbiturates needed

today is the first day of Term 2~
went to college at 8 to help out with the orientation stuff
then had food science class at 1~
i was actually kinda looking forward for it
coz my cita-cita used to be a nutritionist ma
but then i think it's gotta be a boring class lor
haih the lecturer's voice so soft till i could barely hear her voice even though i sat in front lor

then then headed to Lecture Hall 1 for moral studies class
OMG i really hate that place la
it's like having sauna there
somemore it's like 10 groups in a class! gasping for oxygen T.T
i gotta be there early to have a nice seat tommorow

for moral studies
i'm kinda impressed by our lecturer Mr Adrian Yao
coz he seems like he wont get tired de lor =.=
he talked with hells lotsa expression in that sauna room for like 2 hours O.o
anyway we were told to involve ourself in a theatre regarding HIV AIDS
i cant imagine myself acting on stage lor =.=
i wanna be the backstage crew >.< !

i still remember in Miri at 豆之家 they sell tau fu fa for juz RM 1 leh
then my mom will buy many boxes home and i eat till very shuang
and those days we were eating tau fu fa after playing badminton~ really xiang dang nian
anyway i bought tau fu fa and soya milk
it's niceeeeeeeeeee

it's the second time i had tau fu fa at KL i think
the first time was with ah joy XD

Food Paradise

bwahahahaha ok la chai siew yung here comes my update

ok it's been the 6th day I'd been in Miri
Owh no feel so gud to be at home
and i brought lotsa stuff for my family too!
food expecially ~~
i bought 1.5kg of ba gua a.k.a dried meat for my family (500g x 3)
which i think i ate up at least 200g before it reached Miri (oopps XD)

Day 1: 21/06 Sat
After buying J.Co Donuts and stuff from Sunway Piramid
Me and Eileen went home packing then went to airport le
walao LCCT really sucks la =.= nothing to do one
arrived Miri at 9pm+
THEN HEADED DIRECTLY TO OPEN AIR MARKET
OWN NO I MISS OPEN AIR GAN MIEN SOOOOO MUCH
it taste so nice T_T
nicer than any other wan tan mee in KL
when i reached home
walao my fridge is full of food that my mom prepared for me
example: rice dumplings ( reserved for me in freezer coz i din get to eat my grandma's rice dumplings that time), white fungus tong shui, apple crumble, swiss roll, my mom's handmade toast, and lotsa lotsa chocolate and snacks
PARADISE T.T
then when i got to my room
i saw a nicely wrapped Dior gift on my table
then when i opened it curiously

wakaka my mom bought for me when she went to Kuching *touched*

Day 2: 22/06 Sunday
i slept till 1pm + =.=
feel so good to sleep in my beloved bed and airconditioned room again T.T
after that my mom brought me to the food fair opposite boulevard there
so damn SOI ! when i arrived jiu rain! i only managed to buy lekor nia T.T
oh ya and then only i realize Kelvin got new shop there
then then at nite i went to Pujut 5 Curry Fish Head !!! (好味）
had dinner there with my family and my grandparents ^^
drank TsingDao and ate....
咖喱鱼头，奶油鸡，炸南乳猪肉，铁板豆腐，ma ni 菜炒蛋，番薯叶炒belacan~
walao freaking full! but freaking satisfied!

Day 3: 23/06 Monday
mom made 擂茶today
it's a hakka traditional food ( my dad is hakka )
din eat that for ages dy ~

Day 4: 24/06 Tues
went to Parkson to shop around
jie guo =.= really nothing to shop one
ate sugarbun fish burger and then i heard ppl called "陈佳美你几时回来的"
wakaka it's chu sze yee XD long time no see
then at nite went rebond hair with Judy~
and my hair is shockingly FLAT after that T.T

Day 5: 25/06 Wed
went to Boulevard and saw Jasmine and Jiaming!!!
wakaka they still no change
Jasmine curled her hair liao
when gathering har??? ( waiting for organiser ong's answer )
mom cooked Paku with belacan and santan today~ wahhhhh XD
and char siew and 麻婆豆腐~all my fav dish XD

Day 6: 26/06 Tues
meal of the day - oxtail soup with pasta!!!
walao my mom put hell lotsa oxtail in it~ yum yum
and then ben lai going out with Ivy Chai today one
but she suddenly foned me in the morning and said she don have car to drive
then nvm lo~
went Imperial Mall with mom and after that
went for one hour massage with mom at 蓝海轩（opposite imperial there )
walao that therapist saw almost everything on my body liao T.T
coz i only wear panty nia in the room =.=
but nvm la, what i have , she have it too
haha and that massage cost freaking RM 60
so altogether RM 120 flew away in one hour time
OUCH for my mom's wallet

now im looking forward for going to Excapade Sushi at Brunei on Sunday
mom booked a room there dy ^^
and also i haven get to eat open air curry rice and gan mien ( morning stall ) and guang dong mian and krokop 5 food~
wakakaka going to eat all of them REAL SOON~
till then~ chiaoz~

P/S: my mom is really a good cook rite? XD i love her!!!

FINALLY !!!
Finshed my Term Test and all of the assignments XD
Owh no feel so relieved now~ ( actually also didn't feel stress b4 la =.= )
I seriously have no idea how poor will my Term Test result be but
WHO CARES XD
2 WEEKS OF HOLIDAY IS WAITING FOR ME!
bwahahahaha somemore im going back to Miri on this Saturday
Gosh... miss my home a lot T.T

went out with whole gang of mirians yesterday ^^

first.. i woke up damn early and sit KTM to MidValley
as i DON'T have a phone to use now ( my phone rosak dy T.T )
so i only can contact with Sing Min through MSN
and we say we gonna meet with her and her gang at 11.30am at LG floor MCD

wahlao i really be on time on 11.30am o...but =.= i din c anyone i noe there
ok so i ordered banana pie and sprite
i love banana pie! XD
then i wait...and wait...and wait.... =.=

til it's like 12 smtg =.= finally i spot Sing Min
FINALLY =.= and Sze Chee, Samson, Chung Liang, Chin Kang, Jiak Kang...etc
wow Mirians! XD
then we went to Burger King to have lunch
ok i ordered mushroom burger and it's freaking expensive and small and it taste OK only
Carls Junior is much more better =.= ( its more expensive but it worth the price )

then we went to walk around lo
we went to toy city and pets wonderland at 3rd floor ( very smelly inside T.T )
then Eileen came and joined us
i phoned Kai Jie ( using Sing Min's phone )
he kept thinking whether he wanna come o not coz he's so broke at the moment
bwahahha at last he said he's coming

then we went Jaya Jusco to buy sushi ( sing min's craving for sushi =.= )
after that we went to buy rice dumplings!
OMG two dumplings cost me RM11.30
then Kai Jie came dy
we went for Durian Pancakes! so damn nice!
and then Kai Jie went to buy Beard Papa cream puff
i went to buy drinks and Sisters Crispy Popiah

the movie quite nice la..i love the seat in IMAX and the screen is damn big =.=
freezing cold inside also T.T

after that we went down to buy taxi coupon and went home lu... =)

went MidValley with Kai Jie yesterday!

i'm so proud of myself~
i sit KTM alone to MidValley for the first time =.=
Setia Jaya -> KL Central -> MidValley
and Kai Jie went all the way from Setapak to meet up with me at MidValley~

First Station : Carls Junior
I ate: Mushroom Burger Combo ( add on to medium )
He ate: Western Bacon Burger ( add on to large)
Comment: i stil prefer Sunway's Carls Junior

2nd Station: MCD
I ate: Banana Toffee Sundae
He ate: Raspberry Flavor Twist
Comment : The sundae taste not bad o~ some more is he belanja one XD

3rd Station: Egg Tarts at LG floor in front of Jusco ( recommended by Ah Sam )
Me and him ate : one egg tart each
Comment: not bad~ the "skin" very nice but the egg filling not sweet enuf

4th Station: Beard Papa
I ate: Vanilla Cream Puff
He ate: Chocolate Fondant
My comment: Beard Papa's cream puff still as nice as usual~
His comment: * he went crazy with the damn rich chocolate fondant *

5th Station: Chi Cheong Gai Lo Hon Guo Liang Cha stall
Me and him drank : one liang cha each
My comment: ok lo... my mom oso noe how to cook =.=
His comment: hao he o! got many dong gua inside~

6th Station: Carrefour
Me: i wanna find korean chili paste! but when i saw the pricing =.= forget bout it

7th Station: Jusco
bwahaha~ midvalley's Jusco! my fav Jusco among all!
we went shopping for groceries~
he bought apples, mug, milk and yogurt
i bought damn many veges, apples, cereal, milo, luncheon meat,milk....etc
and they cost me about RM 70 T.T

8th Station: Little Vietnam ( third floor )
since he bu gan yuan i didn't treat him a meal ( as i promised coz he kena JPA scholarship and leaving soon ) we went to Little Vietnam for dinner
actually that time we both stil very full de =.=

inside little vietnam...

the food are in big portions and we were freaking full!
cannot move dy =.= i almost vomit
but the food are nice! and quite worth the price ( not expensive anyway )
will definitely go back there again

after that... it's like 8pm+ dy
so we went KTM station and go back dy lu...

bwahahaha so happy went out with him anyway
my 10-years-friend =.=
didn't see him since i went Kuching at Feb
he's still the same =.=
the only difference is he dyed his hair dy
and i miss eating like crazy with him at Kuching XD
missing Sarawak food again T.T...

Gosh! so tired and still need to do IT project las nite
and WTH today Charles Hii gave us two more tasks again!!!
Arghhh... i hate IT assessment la.. T.T
